Rema Is Leading A New Generation As He Covers Tush Magazine’s Summer Issue

Since his debut into the Nigerian music industry, Rema has been on the go, nonstop. The 19-year-old’s life has been a speedy whirlwind ever since his announcement to Mavin Records. Breaking!! All Yahoo Boys Owe Me For My Incarceration By EFCC – Naira Marley Boasts

Following the release of the popular street rapper, Azeez Fashola, a.k.a Naira Marley from the Economic and Financial Crimes’ custody, after fulfilling his bail conditions, the eloquent musician has described his brief incarceration as a sacrifice for perpetrators of cyber-crime, popularly known in Nigeria as Yahoo Yahoo.

Recounting his ordeal in the hands of officers of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, in an Instagram Live video, the ‘Am I a Yahoo Boy’ singer said he was arrested for a crime he didn’t commit, adding that Yahoo boys owe him money. He was quizzed on an 11-count charge bothering on credit card fraud, an offense contrary to Section 27(1) (b) of the cybercrime Prohibition, Prevention Act 2015.

“Those of you that are yahoo boys owe me money. Am I a Yahoo Boy? No, but I have gone to prison because of you”, he stated.

Recall that Naira Marley regained his freedom on Friday, June 14, amid jubilation and barely 14-days after a high court Judge sitting in Lagos, Justice Nicholas Oweibo granted him bail with a condition of two sureties in like sum on May 31.
Meanwhile, reports have indicated that witnesses from financial institutions would testify at his next court appearance slated for October 22, 23 and 24, 2019, respectively.

Cyber-Crime Giving Nigerians Horrible Image In International Community — Says Falz

Since controversial rapper, Folarin Falana, a.k.a FalzTheBahdGuy condemned artistes who celebrate cyber-crime, popularly known as Yahoo Yahoo, he has come under heavy criticism from the public.

However, in a chat with Showtime, while reaffirming his resolve to continue condemning social vices in his songs, the daring musician noted that cyber-crime has given Nigerians a horrible image in the international community.
“I’ve always said it from the beginning and maybe I was the first person to get a backlash on this. I’ve never been a fan of celebrating cyber-crime. When I said it in an interview, it got me a lot of backlash. I will say it again and again; cyber-crime is wrong, cybercrime is giving us a horrible name especially outside Nigeria.

It’s destroying our youths and a lot of people are feeling it’s the only option. I understand the sentiment of people being not privileged and feeling like they don’t have the opportunity and they feel this is the fastest way to get money.
But people are out there actually putting in efforts, toiling, struggling to make it by doing legitimate stuff and not just taking from someone else.

One thing I believe in is that live your life, let others live theirs as long as you living your life does not affect another person negatively.

So long as you are taking from someone else, that is an offense even against humanity and it’s bad. I’ve never subscribed to it and I’ve never been a fan of celebrating it”, he said.

Being a father will certainly affect your social life – a new baby is very trying and also tiring. You may find that lack of sleep means you don’t feel like going out even when you have the opportunity.

Life will never be the same again. It may be a whole lot better and more rewarding, but it’s also going to be tiring, stressful and challenging. Your routine will ultimately have to change, particularly your sleeping patterns. From now on, you will have to use the time when your baby is asleep to sleep yourself. Your baby will not know the difference between day and night, and will sleep irregularly. Prioritise activities.

There’s no point doing the housework in the only two hours out of 24 in which your baby chooses to sleep!

Another major change will be your relationship with your partner. Most new parents don’t expect their relationships to change very much, although this is inevitable. ‘=Most couples see a drop in their satisfaction with their relationship after they become parents. They have less time to spend with each other, it’s more difficult to go out, and there is another person in the family who grabs most of their attention. It will take time to adjust but there are things you can do to appreciate each other. Reassure your partner that you still love each other even if there’s not much romance at the moment. Try to make time to spend together, perhaps just watching a video, when your baby allows.

When we talk about the most feared places in the country, Kirikiri maximum security prisons, located in Apapa, Lagos come to mind. is already infamous for their congestion. As at February 1, 1990, had a population of 1,645 but only a rated capacity of 956.

Kirikiri Maximum Security Prison is also infamous for its “degrading” treatment of prisoners , “appalling” living conditions, sub-standard medical care, and a very high death rate. Former BBNaija housemates Teddy A and BamBam have visited the place to spend time with inmates ahead of Teddy’s birthday.

The singer and model revealed that the visit was a move to launch the BamTeddyFoundation on Teddy A’s birthday, June 6th. He said, “It’s no exaggeration when i say i got the best family ever! I wanted to spend time with inmates at the maximum prison as part of my birthday celebration and the launch of The #BamTeddyFoundation to say thank you for a wonderful 2019 so far and to begin a new chapter in my journey. They came through for me like they’ve always done for the past 1 year.

“I was able to donate different items to aid the work processes to help prison inmates make something of themselves when they get out to the real world. Trust me, i know what it’s like being incarcerated, it’s never a good feeling. The stigma, feelings of depression and isolation is one i do not wish upon anybody. Never take the freedom you have today for granted.

Most See! Davido Offers N1m To Man Who Was Beaten For Disrespecting Wizkid

Nigerian superstar Davido has offered N1m to a ‘street tout’ identified as Shoki Shitta, who was beaten for disrespecting Wizkid and trailing his sister to their fast food.

Shoki Shitta had slammed Wizkid last week for not settling them when he came to Shitta in Surulere.

The street tout who told his gang members playing a Wizkid song to switch to Davido, praised Davido as he slammed Wizkid for giving money to someone else during his visit.

Shoki Shitta who claimed they were given lots of money when Davido shot a video in Shitta with US rapper, Cassanova, further stated that Wizkid is no longer a member of the hood.

However, the street tout got more than he bargained for after he tailed Wizkid to his sister’s shop, shortly after the singer turned up with a top member of his hood, Baruwa Shitta.

One fateful night, I was home sleeping and my sister was at the hospital, Mr Odega came home and tried to rape me and I managed to run out of the house. So many times he has beaten my sister to the point that she will have to wake up at the hospital and each time all he will say is that my family will do nothing, that we don’t even have money to make any case with him.

Most times he locks her outside overnight and most times he will embarrass her in public by calling her name, stripping her naked, accusing her of so many things. So this year, he sent her packing with her daughter, the only child they both have, but he has refused to pay her school fees. As for my sister, she wants nothing to do with him again because the embarrassment is too much.

He was also accused of sleeping with the wife’s workers and a married woman which eventually led to the end of her own marriage after her husband caught her. She also appealed to Nigerians to come to her aid by telling the actor to pay his daughter’s school fees.
